As part of a fellowship at Epicenter (Green River, UT), Tree News organized a series of botanical collage and direct animation workshops with youth at the PACT Community Center and Teen Center.

Workshop participants visited sites around Green River and gathered plants and other materials to collage onto super 8mm film. Sites included Pearl Baker Park, the banks of the irrigation canal, Anna's garden, Hannah's farm, the former missile base, and the uranium tailings disposal site.

The final animation was screened at a public event at Epicenter in conjunction with Issue No. 3.
